Obsessed With: Rosie Edition

TGIT, everyone. Tomorrow is a statutory holiday here in Canada, so my weekend begins today, and I’m a little obsessed with that. Here are my other weekly obsessions:

Lipstick:
L’Oréal Paris Le Matte lip color in 100 – Matte for MeIMG_7643

When I first bought this lipstick, I tweeted that I looked like a glow stick, or that I love glow bowling, or that I kissed a glow worm. You get the picture. I snapped a pic to one of my friends and she responded that I look like Demi Lovato, but Bean encouraged me that I was rocking it, so I wore it everyday this week and now I just think I look like me when I wear it–albeit, a glowing version of me. It’s soft and smooth and goes on like a half-way melted crayon (in the best way possible). To see the color in real life, look very closely in that picture (an accidental snapchat) above. Maybe one day I will learn how to get my whole head in the screen.

Drink:
Half-caffeinated coffee

“All the energy, but half the anxiety!” could be this coffee’s tagline. It still helps my eyelids to stay open in the early morning, but it doesn’t make me all jittery and ready for take-off the way normal coffee does. Mix it with caramel creamer and it’s like drinking a Werther’s Original

Place:
The Local Library

It goes without saying that libraries are awesome, but I think we often underestimate just how crazy awesome our local library is. My 2016 resolution was to spend less money, which essentially means buy less books. I really, really love reading, but my bookshelf is running out of space and sometimes I like to hold an actual book instead of holding my Kindle. If there’s a book you’re looking for that your library doesn’t currently have, request it! I’ve filled out so many online request forms with my local library, and so far they’ve ordered every book I’ve recommended.

Book:
Cravings by Chrissy Teigen

My brother pre-ordered this book for me as a birthday present, and waiting for it to arrive was the longest three months of my life. At long last, it’s here! I haven’t made any of the recipes yet, but I have read every recipe. Chrissy’s intros are funny and fresh and make me even more excited to get cooking. If our Instagram suddenly turns into a foodstagram, you’ll know why.

What are you obsessed with this week? Since it’s a long weekend, I’m seeking book and “everyone in the whole family will definitely like this” movie recommendations.

Love and hugs, Rosie
