It’s Friday night: you don’t have to work tomorrow (hopefully), the sun is officially setting after 7 p.m. and it’s almost Easter (aka an excuse to eat excessive amounts of chocolate)–life is good. So here’s a Friday nightcap! And hopefully you are reading this with an accompanying actual nightcap and a smile on your face!
This week we listened to a real throwback jam to get geared up for Monday; we read an awesome memoir and (will be baking) delicious Cadbury egg brownies for Easter; we pre-burned some calories with a circuit workout so we can really enjoy those brownies and Rosie’s homemade black bean burgers (STAY TUNED!); and we learned that Rosie is obsessed with a slightly-neon-but-still-chic lip color and Chrissy Teigen’s new cookbook.
Tonight I’ll be indulging in some sushi but don’t worry, tomorrow I’ll be sweating it out at yoga first thing! Rosie, no doubt, will be a permanent fixture in her kitchen this weekend cooking up delicious Easter foods and desserts like she does so well.
Looking for a good read to keep you up into the wee hours of the morning? Something to pass the time between Church on Sunday morning and dinner on Sunday night? Try out Exit, Pursued By a Bear by E.K. Johnston. Both Rosie AND I read it this week and loved it! Also, have you ever heard a cooler title or seen a cooler cover? We think not. Stay tuned for our review of it coming soon!

PS Make sure you eat your weight in mini eggs. Remember they won’t be back until next year! 😉
